Session Details & Process

How does an on-location headshot or portrait session work?
We bring a portable mini-studio directly to your home, office, or preferred location. Our setup includes professional backdrops, lighting, and equipment to create a studio-quality environment on-site. Alternatively, you can choose to have your session in our home studio.

What can I expect during my session?
During your session, you’ll receive guided posing and professional direction to ensure you look confident and polished. Our team will help with posture, expression, and setup, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

How long is each session?
Session lengths vary based on your needs. Individual headshot sessions are designed to be quick yet thorough, while group or corporate sessions may require additional time to ensure consistency across all shots.

Pricing & Packages

What is included in your headshot/portrait packages?
For individual sessions at $100, you receive 3 professionally edited and retouched images, with additional images available at $20 each. 

For group sessions of 2-5 people at $80/person, each person will receive 3 professionally edited and retouched images, with additional images available at $20 each. 

We also offer special pricing for small groups (2-5 people) and custom quotes for larger corporate teams.

Please let us know when scheduling your appointment or while the photographer is on-site if you want more than 3 headshots.

Do you offer discounts for group or corporate sessions?
Yes! We offer bulk discounts for groups and corporate sessions. For teams of 6 or more, please contact us for a custom quote that meets your unique needs.

Are there any additional fees I should know about?
A travel fee of $1.25 per mile applies for on-location sessions. We are based in Old Bridge, New Jersey (zip code 08857). To calculate the travel fee, enter our zip code and your location into your GPS to get the one-way mileage, then multiply that number by $1.25.

Editing, Delivery & Quality

Will my photos be edited and retouched?
Absolutely! Every photo is fully edited and retouched to ensure you look your best. We handle everything from color correction to removing distractions, so your images are ready for use in marketing, social media, and more.

How and when will I receive my images?
Your high-resolution digital files will be delivered electronically. Our turnaround time is typically 1-3 days for individual sessions and 2-5 days for group sessions.

Preparation & Styling

How should I prepare for my headshot session?
We recommend selecting solid colors and outfits that reflect your professional style. Avoid busy patterns, and consider getting a good night’s sleep. Feel free to ask for personalized tips when scheduling your session.

Scheduling & Location

How do I schedule a session?
Booking is easy! You can choose a date, time, and location that works best for you—whether it’s at your home, office, or our home studio. Simply contact us online by emailing Eli@PickThreePhotography.com or call/text our phone number (848) 444-1366 to reserve your spot.

Can I choose my preferred backdrop or setting?
Our standard setup features a professional white backdrop, which provides a clean, timeless look perfect for headshots. However, if you have a specific color preference, we do offer digital editing options to adjust the backdrop’s color. Just let us know your vision, and we’ll work with you to create the polished, professional image you’re after.

Additional Questions

Do you require a deposit to schedule a session?

Individual Headshots: no deposit is required. Payment is due upon delivery of photos. You can conveniently pay your invoice online. If you prefer to pay cash or with a check, payment is due on-site when you meet your photographer.

Small Groups and Corporate Sessions: a 25% deposit is required to schedule your appointment.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my session?
We understand that plans can change. 

Individual and Small Group Sessions: As long as we receive at least 12 hours notice, no cancellation or rescheduling fee will be charged. For cancellations or rescheduling with less than 12 hours’ notice, a $50 fee will apply, plus the applicable travel fee if the photographer has already traveled to the location.

Corporate Sessions: We require 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, your deposit will be forfeited.

Who can benefit from your headshot and portrait services?
Our services are perfect for business professionals, realtors, educators, students, actors, social media influencers, and anyone looking for a polished, professional image.

What if my child or student misses school picture day?

No worries! We offer school photography services for educators and families. If your child misses the official picture day, we can quickly schedule an on-location session at your home or a nearby location, ensuring they still get a high-quality portrait without any stress.


How much space do you need to set up your mini studio in my office or home?

We typically require a small, unobstructed area of about 6-8 feet by 6-8 feet for our portable mini-studio setup. This space allows us to install our professional white backdrop and lighting equipment efficiently. If you're unsure whether your office space will work, just contact us and we can discuss the setup details to ensure a smooth session.


Do you offer on-site image previews during corporate sessions?

Yes, during corporate sessions, we bring a laptop so that each team member can review their images on-site. This immediate feedback allows for quick adjustments to hair, expression, or styling, ensuring every individual is completely satisfied with their photo.


Do you offer digital backdrop replacement?

Absolutely. While our standard setup includes a professional white backdrop, we offer digital editing to replace the backdrop with one from our curated library, giving you a variety of options to match your brand’s style.
